Privacy policy

This policy applies to visits to this website. It does not describe the Noscea software itself. The software's data processing is explained separately and in detail to each interested dealership, with legal advice obtained before deployment.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by INWX GmbH, Prinzessinnenstr. 30, 10969 Berlin, Germany. The provider processes the data listed below on our behalf under Article 28 GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider. The servers are located in Germany.

When you visit this website, the server automatically records access data in log files. These include the requesting device's IP address, the date and time of access, the page or file requested, the amount of data transferred, the retrieval status, the previously visited page, the browser type and version, and the operating system.

The purpose of this processing is to provide a technically reliable and secure website, in particular to detect and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is in stable and secure operation.

The provider deletes log files after no more than two months. These data are not combined with other data sources and are not used to create usage profiles.

3. Cookies and analysis of page visits

This website uses no cookies or external analytics services. On personalised video pages, we record the first page visit and first video start for each assigned page and receive an email notification. This analysis is linked to the dealership contacted and, where applicable, the person addressed; details are given in section 5. General server logs are described in section 2.

4. Contact by email and contact form

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (email address and, where applicable, your name and message) solely to handle your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

If you use the contact form on the home page, we process your name, dealership name, selected enquiry topic and preferred reply method. Depending on that choice, we require either your phone number or your email address. You may also provide a preferred callback time and a message. The details are transmitted to our server over an encrypted connection, forwarded to our inbox by email and not stored on the web server. We use them solely to respond to your enquiry through your chosen contact method (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract). Your name and dealership are required, along with your phone number for a callback or your email address for an email reply.

The inbox is operated by the same provider that hosts this website and is covered by the same data processing arrangement. We delete your enquiry once it has been resolved, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

5. Letters to dealerships and personalised video pages

We contact selected dealerships by post. We obtain the names, roles and business addresses of the people we write to from the respective dealership's website and legal notice. We also use publicly accessible professional information from LinkedIn profiles, particularly names and roles. The purpose is to establish a business relationship. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in advertising to businesses (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The letter contains a QR code linking to a video page assigned to the dealership contacted. On the first visit to the page and the first start of the video, we store the date and time under that page's identifier. We also receive an email at info@noscea.de containing the event, dealership, assigned contact where applicable, page address and time. We do not store an IP address or use cookies for this event recording. Our hosting provider's general access logs are described in section 2. The purpose is to understand use of our personalised video offering and organise prospecting. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in evaluating our direct marketing. A visit does not prove that the person addressed visited the page themselves and does not constitute consent to be contacted.

We delete the stored events and related notification emails no later than six months after the letter is sent. If no business relationship is established, we also delete the contact details collected for this prospecting by that date, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise or details remain necessary to honour an objection to marketing.

You may object to the use of your data for marketing at any time (Article 21(2) GDPR). Simply send a short message to info@noscea.de. You will then receive no further post from us, and we will delete your data unless we need them to honour your objection.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21) in relation to your personal data. Please use the contact details above to exercise these rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

Right to object

Where we process data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. An informal message to info@noscea.de is sufficient. No reason is required for an objection to marketing; see section 5.

7. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy will be updated when the actual data processing changes, for example if analytics tools or cookies are introduced.
